Oil Painting
My painting represents the wonderful life shared between my horse Missy and I along with my granddaughter. Having owned Missy for 27 years, the painting will all be a reminder of the happy times we spent together. After 31 years of vibrant life, Missy became ill with kidney disease. Not so uncommon in an aging horse, but none the less, difficult to go through. The picture this painting was based on was taken by my husband Ed in the last days of Missy life as a keepsake for me to remember her by. My granddaughter really loved Missy and simply wanted to touch her. We certainly shared sometimes together that will never be forgotten.
